INSTRUCTORS
Sherry Jaqua is an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified group fitness instructor. She has been involved in fitness throughout her life, as a soccer player, runner, and cyclist. She has participated in multiple Team in Training endurance events via the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. Hailing from the Midwest, she was drawn to the fabulous outdoor opportunities in the Northwest in the early '90s and enjoys any activities that involve the mountains.
As a nutrition specialist, Sherry sees exercise as a critical part of overall health, well-being and longevity. Her main goal as an instructor is to give her participants tools for fitness that they can incorporate into their daily lives. Sherry will motivate clients to achieve their goals while making new friends, being part of a community and ultimately taking advantage of all the outdoors has to offer.
Ivonne De Pauli is the owner of Fresh Air Fitness. Ivonne's interest and passion in fitness and sports came from years of training and competing in gymnastics. The sport instilled a life long
appreciation for being fit, strong and healthy. After the birth of her second child eight years ago, she felt completely out of shape and joined the YMCA. It was there where she discovered a
new passion and ultimately a new job as a kickboxing instructor! The intense kickboxing workouts were just what a busy mom of two
needed, both physically and mentally. She trained as a group fitness instructor and started
teaching aerobic kickboxing classes at local gyms. She also became a Zumba instructor and added that to
her repertoire. Boot Camp has
become her third love and a great way to combine her love of fitness and the
outdoors with her experience and joy of leading group fitness classes. She strives to keep classes both fun and challenging and enjoys helping participants achieve their own fitness goals.
